Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Program Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and deployment of advanced manufacturing automation initiatives across multiple facilities. This individual will serve as the bridge between Industrial Engineering, Controls Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and external automation partners to ensure successful execution of automation programs.
The ideal candidate combines strong manufacturing process knowledge with hands-on automation experience, including robotics, AGVs/AMRs, material handling systems, controls integration, and plant-floor implementation. This role is responsible for driving projects from concept through launch while standardizing best practices and ensuring scalability across the organization.

Compensation: $45/hr to $53/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience within manufacturing, industrial automation, controls engineering, industrial engineering, or automation implementation.
Proven experience leading technical projects or automation programs in a manufacturing environment.
Experience implementing automation technologies such as:

Robotics
AGVs/AMRs
Automated Material Handling Systems
Conveyors
Vision Systems
Warehouse Automation Solutions


Understanding of PLC controls, HMI systems, industrial networking, and automation integration principles.
Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Ability to travel to manufacturing facilities as required.
