Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Director of Data & Artificial Intelligence for one of our clients. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing the organization's enterprise data, analytics, and AI strategy while driving the adoption of scalable, data-driven solutions that create measurable business value. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic leader, partnering with both technical and business stakeholders to modernize data capabilities, lead AI initiatives, establish governance standards, and build high-performing teams that accelerate innovation and digital transformation. Additional responsibilities include:
- Define and execute the organization's long-term data, analytics, and AI strategy.
- Lead the development and deployment of enterprise-wide analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions.
- Partner with business leaders to identify high-impact opportunities and prioritize data and AI investments.
- Collaborate with data engineering, cloud, and technology teams to build scalable data platforms and analytics capabilities.
- Establish and oversee data governance, AI governance, and model lifecycle management processes.
- Build, mentor, and lead teams of data professionals, including data scientists, analytics engineers, and AI leaders.
- Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making through organizational change management and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage relationships with external technology partners, consulting firms, and platform providers.
- Communicate strategy, progress, and business outcomes to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Ensure AI and analytics initiatives align with security, compliance, and responsible AI best practices.
Compensation:
$181,000 to $226,000 per year annual salary.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, AI, or advanced analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong experience delivering Analytics and AI solutions at enterprise scale
- Strong understanding of data architecture, cloud platforms, advanced analytics, and AI/ML lifecycle management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience establishing AI, model risk management, and data ethics frameworks
- Familiarity with modern data and AI platforms (cloud native analytics, AI platforms, and data governance tools)
- Masters Degree in related field
- Experience within an automotive or manufacturing background
