Job Description
• Develop, modify, and optimize HMI Screens and programs for GM applications for the following platforms
o Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwel Studio, CodeSys, HTML, Javascript
• Develop HMI Screens and programs using MQTT, OPCU and PLC Ladder protocols
• Support offline programming, architecture development, and cycle time optimization.
• Understand and modify HTML, Javascript, Python, C# programming scripting to support HMI code
• Understand and deploy docker images to Linux real time operating systems
• Troubleshoot PLC logic, equipment interaction, sequence issues, and process-related programming concerns
• Update and maintain HMI program backups, revision history, and change logs
• Support alignment to applicable GM controls standards, naming conventions, and programming expectations
• Develop and Support industry standard alarm screens,
• Participate in project review meetings, issue tracking, and status reporting
• Support plant or supplier activities as directed by GM within the defined scope and period of performance

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience with HMI development - ideally with ignition
experience developing the UI
