Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Construction Quality Control / Superintendent professional to support a major U.S. Army Corps–associated civil construction project at the Soo Locks in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. This individual will be responsible for overseeing on-site civil construction activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting project execution from demolition through completion.
This project involves demolition and expansion of an existing parking lot, installation of new security infrastructure, storm drainage, and large-scale concrete work. The ideal candidate will have a strong civil or concrete construction background and experience serving as a Project Superintendent or Project Manager on similar projects. This is a 6-7 month contract starting May 15th.

Required Skills & Experience
• USACE / USACOE Quality Control Manager (QCM) Certification
• 10+ years of experience in the construction industry
• Experience serving as a Project Superintendent or Project Manager
• OSHA 30‑Hour Certification with proof of continuing education
• Strong working knowledge of USACE standards and procedures
• Civil and/or concrete construction experience
• Ability to pass a background check
• Comfortable working on-site and overseeing civil construction work
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Prior experience working directly on US Army Corps of Engineers projects
• Background supporting federally funded or government‑regulated construction
• Experience on civil, sitework, or infrastructure projects, including:
• Concrete paving
• Storm drainage systems
• Electrical and lighting installations
• EV charger installations
• Fencing, gates, and access control systems
