Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support its growing infusion operations on a contract, extendable basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys staying busy, and is comfortable handling, sterile spaces, call volume, and insurance-related tasks.
The Pharmacy Technician will support daily pharmacy and infusion operations while working closely with pharmacists and clinical staff to ensure patients receive timely, accurate, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Support pharmacists with daily pharmacy and infusion-related operations
• Perform insurance verification and resolve coverage or authorization issues
• Handle frequent phone communication with patients, providers, and internal teams
• Assist with processing prescriptions and medication-related documentation
• Maintain accuracy and compliance with pharmacy regulations and organizational policies

Required Skills & Experience
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Michigan
• Minimum of 6 months of hospital/sterile compounding pharmacy experience
• Minimum of 6 months of retail pharmacy experience
• Experience with insurance verification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong communication skills, including frequent phone-based interactions
