Job Description
A partner of Insight Global is looking to add a Payroll Manager to their team. The Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll operations across a multi-entity organization, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for hourly and salaried employee populations across multiple states and locations. This role serves as a subject matter expert for payroll operations, tax compliance, audits, and system optimization. The Payroll Manager partners closely with Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and external payroll vendors to support payroll accuracy, compliance, and scalability. While this role has no direct people management, it is responsible for managing seven payroll schedules across three entities.

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
-8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including 3+ years in a payroll leadership or ownership role
-Proven success managing payroll operations in multi-entity, multi-pay-cycle environments
-Hands-on experience with ADP and ADP Workforce Navigator required
-Experience supporting payroll across multiple geographic locations and pay ranges
-Strong working knowledge of payroll tax compliance, wage and hour laws, and audits
-Advanced Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) with strong attention to detail
-Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing competing priorities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Prior experience implementing or optimizing payroll and/or HRIS systems
