Job Description
We are looking to hire an Onsite IT Technician to support our customer in Allen Park, MI. The Onsite IT Technician provides hands‑on technical support for printers and related technology in a customer environment. This role focuses on resolving routine technical issues, supporting HP solutions, and building strong relationships with onsite stakeholders while escalating more complex problems as needed.
Responsibilities
-Provide onsite support for printers and related technology within assigned customer accounts
-Independently resolve routine, in‑scope technical incidents following defined procedures
-Work with team members to troubleshoot and resolve more complex technical issues
-Apply products and solutions to meet moderately complex customer needs
-Integrate technical knowledge with business understanding to deliver effective customer solutions
-Participate in customer expectation management and escalation processes when required
-Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer management
-Set and communicate clear expectations with customers based on defined service parameters
-Continuously apply and grow technical knowledge to support assigned technology areas

Required Skills & Experience
-2+ years in a help desk, desktop support, or technical support role
-Great customer service skills, and comfortable supporting customers over chat, email, phone, and in person
-Experience remotely logging into devices for troubleshooting
-Experience working in a ticketing system, preferably Service Now
-Prefer experience working with IT hardware, even better if that experience is printers
