Job Description
We’re seeking a SailPoint Architect for an Energy & Utilities client out of Detroit, MI. The SailPoint Architect will own the strategic roadmap and technical execution of an identity platform. The current on‑prem SailPoint IIQ environment needs stabilization and modernization; you’ll lead remediation, blueprint a cloud migration path (ISC/IdentityNow), and drive incremental value while the transformation is underway. This is a hands‑on architecture role—equal parts design leadership and sleeves‑rolled‑up delivery. This is a hybrid role in Detroit, MI.
What You’ll Do:
Stabilize & Optimize IIQ (On‑Prem)
Assess current implementation, identify gaps in lifecycle events, access request/approval, certifications, policy, and connectors
Remediate reliability, performance, and governance issues
Define the Cloud Path (ISC)
Build a pragmatic IIQ → ISC migration strategy
Partner with security, infrastructure, and app owners
Hands‑On Delivery
Design and implement IIQ objects (rules, workflows, tasks, LCM provisioning, certification campaigns) and custom connectors/integrations
Stand up or extend ISC capabilities (sources, governance models, workflows, access profiles) where applicable

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years in Identity & Access Management with 5+ years focused on SailPoint
Proven experience architecting and administering SailPoint IIQ in production, including:
LCM workflows, provisioning, certifications, RBAC/ABAC, SoD, policy management
Connector development (e.g., AD/AAD, LDAP, HRIS, ServiceNow, databases, custom apps via REST/SOAP)
Demonstrated cloud journey experience: designing or executing migrations from IIQ to ISC/IdentityNow (or hybrid patterns)
