Job Description

We are seeking a Controller Integration Engineer to support automated driving development efforts for a client leading the development of autonomous driving technology for heavy-duty commercial trucks. This role is highly hands on and ideal for someone with strong experience in automotive systems integration, HIL environments, and diagnostic tooling.

Responsibilities
• Configure test benches to simulate automated driving scenarios
o Remotely access bench setups and confirm systems are ready to enter automated driving mode
• Build and maintain components within internal tooling to support diagnostic based testing for truck platforms
o Example tasks include implementing commands to determine steering angle limits, brake pressure thresholds, and similar diagnostic parameters


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in automotive engineering
o Background with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers (e.g., Bosch or similar) highly preferred
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Experience using Vector tools
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working on HIL benches
o Includes basic wiring tasks such as connecting/disconnecting components

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working in both automotive and high tech environments
• Ability to think creatively to solve integration challenges
