Job Description

A large Material Handling Company is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer. This person will be responsible for creating and maintaining controls engineering documentation and system layouts. This can include sensor/actuator layouts and associated engineering and electrical installation reports, controls component order lists, electrical drawings and associated reports – on new projects and/or retrofit/upgrade projects. They will start with a system design (aka e-plan), then create a hardware plan. This will be the blueprint that the commissioning and installation teams follow when installing equipment on site. On occasion, this person will also support the controls engineering team on site to verify the proper installation of electrical systems. They will investigate and design issues. This person needs to be able to work on a team or independently 

Salary Ranges from 80,000 to 110,000 based on experience. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in controls related field (i.e. Electrical or computer engineering)
2+ years of experience in an electrical engineering role
Experience in an industrial or automation related environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Direct Automation or Material handling Experience
Autocad or other design software 
ePlan Experience
Prior leadership experience
PLC experience
