Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Data Engineer to join one of our Energy clients out of Detroit, MI. This individual’s primary responsibility will be dissecting data from Alteryx. This position requires you be onsite in Detroit 3 days per week and remaining days are work from home.

Responsibilities Include:
• Analyze and optimize existing Alteryx workflows, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Migrate automation, processes, and scripts from Alteryx to SailPoint or other secure platforms.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as Data Engineer or similar role
• Experience with Alteryx for data preparation and workflow automation.
• Strong development/programming background
o Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and ability to implement automation in compliance with security standards.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with SailPoint or other Identity Governance platforms.
• Knowledge of API development and integration for data and identity systems.
