Insight Global is seeking a junior Estate Planning Attorney for a law office based in Michigan. The Estate Planning Attorney leads estate planning and trust review workshops, and creates and reviews estate plan documents for clients in all steps of estate planning process.

Required Skills & Experience
• Admission to Bar in Michigan
• Working knowledge of estate planning laws
• Experience creating estate plans and trust documents
• Proficient in all Microsoft office programs
• Excellent public speaking, verbal and written communication skills
• Notary Public or ability to obtain notary commission
• Ability to travel to client and other office locations-Norton Shores, Portage, Holland/Home location is Grand Rapids.
• Ability to market the brand, reach out to community to present information, develop partnerships with a variety of organizations who could utilize our services.
Day to Day:
• Handles all aspects of the estate planning process including, but not limited to: meeting with clients to explain the estate planning process, preparing and reviewing all legal documents required to create a trust, and handling follow-up communication with clients.
• Meets sales/conversion goals
• Works diligently to ensure that our client’s estate planning wishes are fulfilled during the planning process.
• Counsels executors and beneficiaries on the benefits of the estate planning process.
• Manages individual caseload.
• Signs and notarizes client documents following Michigan Notary Rules.
• Responds to inquiries from clients and staff members regarding documents, funding, fees, Medicaid, plan specifics, and other estate planning-related law information.
• Documents each matter with careful and specific notation in applicable system after any client interaction.
• Performs research as necessary.
• Provides guidance, direction and approval to staff in preparation of documents for clients.
• Reviews, coordinates and implements plans for real estate issues. Answer real estate-related questions as they arise pertaining to Firm-designed estate plans.
• Comply with Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct.
• Travels to satellite locations, pop-up locations, and in-home meetings, can be up to 40% of schedule.
• May be required to work weekends or evenings as workshop and client schedule dictates.
