Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a SAP Technical Integration Consultant to support the integration of SAP Finance systems with Employee Central Payroll (ECP). This role is essential for enabling seamless data flow and system connectivity across multiple SAP landscapes.
Specific Responsibilities:
- SAP BASIS Configuration & Integration
• Set up RFC connections, ports, partner profiles, logical systems, and distribution models across SAP Finance systems (TA2, APW, TA3, SGP).
• Configure ChaRM (Change Request Management) for cloud and on-premise systems, including transport setup between cloud and ECP.
• Set up GRC between ECP systems, including ABAP closure tasks.
• Perform GUI and BTP system setup for integration readiness.
- SAP ABAP Development
• Develop and maintain interfaces for:
○ Outgoing master data to ECP.
○ Incoming transactional data from ECP.
• Support enhancements and customizations related to wage type/GL mapping and HR-FICO integration.
- SAP FICO Integration
• Collaborate with the interface team across countries to configure HR posting mechanisms and financial data flows.
• Evaluate opportunities to front-load configuration work for efficiency.
• Act as SME for integration partner setup and financial data flow validation.
- Testing & Documentation
• Participate in Unit Testing and System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Provide test evidence documentation and support deployment activities.
Maintain thorough documentation of setup activities and ongoing configurations.
Compensation: $50/hr to $57/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Modules of Focus:
• SAP BASIS and ABAP are most critical for one-time setups involving ChaRM and GRC.
• SAP FICO is essential for ongoing integration and configuration work.
- Key Skills & Experience:
• 8+ years of SAP BASIS experience in system integration, RFC setup, and landscape configuration.
• Strong ABAP development skills in interface building, data mapping, and custom reports.
• Deep understanding of SAP FICO, including financial postings, wage type/GL configuration, and HR/payroll integration.
• Experience integrating SAP Finance systems with SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
Familiarity with tools and platforms such as ChaRM, SAP GUI, SAP BTP, PI/PO, and CPI.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred:
- Prior experience in global SAP rollouts or multi-country integration projects.
- Familiarity with Kronos or Dormakaba timekeeping systems.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work across time zones and collaborate with offshore/onshore teams.
