Job Description
Lab Equipment:
• Run lab equipment daily (start/stop testing).
• Undergo training on various lab equipment, including:
• Leak testers
• Thermal chambers
• High voltage DC power supplies
• Loading and unloading of DUTs onto lab equipment.
• Loading parts on carts (lifting 30 lb parts).
• Transferring carts from storage to thermal chambers.
• Connecting hoses, HVDC harnesses, and LVDC harnesses.
Inverter Assembly & Instrumentation:
• Inspect components of inverters (e.g., capacitors, IGBTs, busbars).
• Assemble test sample inverters.
• Instrument inverters with thermocouples, accelerometers, voltage and current probes, microphones, and other equipment.
Test Setup & Support:
• Prepare test setups in the lab environment, including high voltage testers, thermal chambers, power cyclers, ovens, chillers, coolant conditioning units, and data acquisition systems.
• Conduct testing based on established test procedures.
• Assist in troubleshooting test setups.
• Support test lab operations, including shipping/receiving/inventory of test samples and test setup parts, facility maintenance, and test equipment calibration.
Compensation:
$33/hr to $35/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5 years of transmission/axle testing
• Experience working on test stands and understands high and low voltage harness assembly (high voltage testers, thermal chambers, power cyclers, ovens, chillers, coolant conditioning units, and data acquisition systems)
• Experience setting up test stands, testing and troubleshooting test stands
• Strong in software (CAN and LIN)
• EOL test experience specifically with powertrain products
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Preferable to understand NVH, dyno test, powertrain drive units
