Job Description
The Specialized Business Analyst will be supporting a large, complex IT project for our client. The project entails replacing and building out a financial management system that will integrate with many of the client’s applications once complete. This platform will be developed from scratch, and development will take approximately 2 years. Once the development is complete, the project will move into operational support & maintenance.
$45/hr - $55/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Financial domain experience (this project is Accounts Receivable)
• Strong experience gathering requirements from users (identifying impacted business processes, assessing business needs, identifying IT solution integration, GAP analysis, SWOT analysis)
• 5+ years of experience designing technical and business requirement documentation including wireframes and screen mockups, context diagrams, benefits realization, business practice models, workflow diagrams, traceability metrics)
• 3+ years of experience with Agile methodology / SCRUM processes and ceremonies including daily scrum, spring planning, backlog grooming, spring reviews, sprint retrospective
• 3+ years of experience working with Azure DevOps backlog management, Kanban board, Sprint board, etc.
• 5+ years of experience eliciting and decomposing requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Working knowledge of Systems Engineering Methodology (SEM) and Project Management Methodology (PMM)
• Senior level understanding of the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC)
• Bachelor’s Degree

• Experience writing test plans and use cases.
