Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Vehicle Software Systems Engineering (VSSE) team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative group. VSSE provides software solutions to Product Development (PD) users and plays a critical role in supporting vehicle cybersecurity and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain software applications that support the end-to-end lifecycle of security keys and digital certificates used across Ford’s manufacturing plants, suppliers, and service teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient software updates to Electronic Control Units (ECUs).
• Contribute to the development of the Vehicle Cybersecurity Access application, a business-critical tool that helps prevent costly manufacturing disruptions.
• Embrace and apply Lean, Agile, Pair Programming, and Extreme Programming (XP) practices to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Work in small, co-located, multi-functional teams based in Dearborn, MI.
$58/hr to $68/hr : Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of Full Stack Developemnt Experience
Experience with Angular on the front end and Java Spring boot on the backend
Electronic Control Unit Experience (ECU)
Previous cloud experience - preferably GCP
Experience working with CI/CD Pipelines
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in the Cyber Security Space
Experience working with Tekton
