Job Summary:
As a Group Leader in Global Supply Chain (GSC), you will be responsible for executing deliverables that support the supply chain business objectives. You will lead one of the key areas within the GSC organization, ensuring excellence in customer service, quality, responsiveness, people development, product flow, and financial performance. You will collaborate across functions and with suppliers to resolve complex supply chain issues, minimize production disruptions, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues with minimal impact to production.
• Assess internal schedules to ensure proper flow of material
• Lead UAW workforce on the floor (small team 5- 10 people)
• Develop and implement creative solutions to capacity constraints and logistics challenges.
• Communicate critical issues
• Manage internal transportation
• Support Safety, GMS, and Lean Material Strategies
• Support launch and build-out activities at plant locations.
• Manage relationships with logistics suppliers and outside processors
• Work flexible hours, including extended and non-core shifts, as needed.
• Work weekends

Required Skills & Experience
• HS Diploma
• 2+ years of materials/logistics/supply chain experience
• 2+ years with supervisory experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain
• UAW supervision experience
• Familiarity with autonomous navigation technologies (e.g., Lidar, vision systems
