Job Description
Quality, Process & Documentation:
• Manage and operate incoming and in-process quality checks
• Own the auditing and completion of build book documentation for each drive unit assembly.
• Coordinate & document efforts related to build deviations and quality issues (tracking within jira for history and bringing to quick closure)
• Continuous improvement and iteration to build book, quality, and process
• Own & manage build book documentation for each inverter assembly.
• Coordinate & document efforts related to build deviations and quality issues.
Compensation:
$35/hr to $40/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of experience working as a Quality Engineer
• Experienced candidates in assemblies, like transmissions or engines or drive units, or experience in battery packs and high voltage or electronics. Avoid interior or exterior plastic injection, molding and stamping backgrounds
• Demonstrated ability to walk through steps taken to solve quality issues
• Experience managing in process quality, managing work instructions, quality checks, auditing, evaluating process, continuous improvement, understand quality issues and can solve root cause analysis
• Degree in Engineering
• Background in quality control
• Experience in quality management
• Understands quality management for build
• Understands inspection of day-to-day operations, operating equipment
• Experience launching parts, manage build book
