Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Facilities Engineer to support one of our automotive clients. The Facilities Engineer in this position will be responsible for writing Statements of Work (SOWs), issuing purchase orders, and overseeing different contractors/suppliers. This position includes 20-50% travel to different plants within North America which will ramp up in Q2 of 2026.

Compensation: $35-40/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors in Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position within automotive or construction environment
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior experience writing Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Prior experience issuing POs
- Experience working closely with different vendors/suppliers

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Familiarity with construction management
- Familiarity working with Water booth equipment
- Project Management experience
