Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an SAP Process Engineer to join one of our clients out of either Southfield or Seattle locations in a hybrid role 2 days a week onsite. This person will be responsbile for advising and supporting SAP project teams in the design, configuration, implementation, and testing of SAP. This person will be supporting the business process teams in managing and optimizing the SAP system, while ensuring the quality of the system is consistent with our processes and standards. Other responsibilities include:
- Develop SAP system design and configure solutions to enable corporate strategic objective and drive business value
- Directs and coordinates all activities associated with the SAP application including design, testing, configuration, and deployment of current and future functionality
- Work through complex SAP process problems and document the business process as configured in SAP, test and ensure proper integration with other modules
- Promotes resolution of business requirements through standard system functionality
- Performs detailed configuration of SAP modules to replicate the required business processes
- Provides input on technical implications of specific requirements of SAP solutions, including data conversion, development of technical objects and interfaces
- Facilitates knowledge transfer to the other project team members
- Conducts and coordinates testing of all SAP upgrades and patches
- Organizes the exchange of problems with SAP / Partners
- Defines custom application requirements and works with other team members to design, test, implement and deploy the custom applications

Compensation:
$100,000 to $130,000 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3-5 years of experience designing, configuration, implementation, and testing of SAP
- Strong understanding of various SAP modules and their functionalities
- Experience documenting implemented SAP solutions: configuration details, process flows, testing results, etc.
- Ability to view CUI data

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Understanding of both purchasing and materials management modules in SAP
- Experience and understanding of governmental regulations
