We are seeking adaptable engineer to support the upgrade of two stamping press lines, focusing on both front-of-line and end-of-line systems. This role will be on-site at our plant and play a key part in a comprehensive hardware and software upgrade initiative. The successful candidate will oversee suppliers and electrician from installation through commissioning,
Key Responsibilities:
Support the hardware installation phase of front-end and end-of-line systems for two stamping presses.
Assist electricians on-site by answering technical questions and helping resolve installation challenges.
Track and manage open issues using an issue list; follow up on unresolved tasks and ensure progress.
Review wiring, cabling, and documentationespecially relating to older machines (approx. 20+ years old).
Interpret and understand legacy systems and how they interact with new installations.
Provide ongoing production support once upgrades are complete.

4+ years of experience as a controls engineer on the hardware side
Experience working in a large production environment
Experience with working with electricians or different trades
Experience reading prints and drawing to check panels
previous wiring or electrician background
