Controls Project Manager

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Controls Project Manager in Grand Rapids, MI. This person will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all activities supporting the successful and timely delivery of projects of medium to large size and complexity. This role sets project schedules, selects project team members, monitors and controls project budgets, enforces project deadlines, and works with Team Leads to allocate additional internal and external resources as necessary. This person will need to have a deep understanding of Electrical and Automation engineering along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willing to travel to customer sites approximately 40% of the time.

Salary Ranges from 115,000 to 130,000 based on experience. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.

5 to 7 years of experience in project management
3 to 5 years of experience in Material Handling, Automotive, or Related industries
1 to 3 years of experience in controls or electrical engineering or automation.
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, & Excel.

Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE II certification a plus.
