A client of Insight Global is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to join their team! This individual will be responsible for overseeing the Health & Safety program for a large manufacturer in West Michigan. Responsibilities will include leading corporate audits, reporting, responding to incidents and injuries, leading safety training for new employees, enforcing safety regulations on the manufacturing floor, leading various initiatives such as sustainability and ergonomics, and more. This person must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and be cross-functional. This person will be required to work handin hand with maintenance and other groups, and could be partnering with external groups such as OHSA, the local fire department, etc.
Compensation:
$75,000 to $95,000 annually

- 3-5 years of experience working with health and safety in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working on a manufacturing floor
- Excellent organization and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in industrial environmental health management, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental or related field
- Large safety project experience in a manufacturing environment
