Insight Global is looking for a Robotics Engineer specialized in Fanuc to work out of Lake Orion MI for a large OEM. This individual is expected to solve complex engineering problems and provide guidance to less experienced people. This high level of proficiency must be exhibited at every phase of a typical program's cadence (program simulation & development, system integration, and plant installation). This individual must be capable of providing robotics engineering service for all typical process applications.
* Duties and Responsibilities which a Robotics Senior Project Engineer must be highly proficient at:
* * Create and teach others how to create new robot path programs using the robot teach pendant.
* * Create and teach others how to create new robot logic programs using the robot teach pendant.
* * Supervise teams of robot programmers.
* * Dress and teach others how to dress robots.
* * Debug and teach others how to debug robot interfaces.
* * Perform robot reach studies and station cycle time analysis.
* * Provide design suggestions for end-effector and tooling.
* * Perform robot payload and inertia analysis.
* * Create off-line robot programs.
* * Download offline robot programs using the robot teach pendant.
Compensation:
$30/hr to $43/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
