Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a vetronics engineer in Sterling Heights, Michigan, with at least 8 years of vetronics experience. This resource will be responsible for the design, development and integration of complex military combat vehicle electronic and power distribution systems. This is in support of the DoD and this resource must have (or have the ability to obtain) a DoD Secret Clearance.

Required Skills & Experience

Active secret Clearance (or ability to obtain)
BSc Engineering (e.g. Electrical, Systems, Aerospace, Automotive)
8-10+ years of Vetronics experience
Knowledge of military standards and regulations & DoD ground vehicle requirements
Experience delivering large complex US Defense programs
Experience with standard bus protocols (CANBus, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553)
Experience with military Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.
Experience with bid capture, contract negotiations and delivery planning
Experience with engineering and supply chain management
Product development throughout the entire product lifecycle
Working knowledge of digital, analog, power and RF electronics
Hands on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, logic analyzers, function generators, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers

Masters Degree
