Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer/Consultant to support a large client of ours. This person will develop and refine a software product that delivers business value. Responsibilities include: unit testing to drive design of application, confirm functionality, conformance w/nonfunctional requirements. They will develop across entire software stack (browser, mobile, server, database) using multiple programming languages. They will Work across multiple product teams to deliver software. They will practice paired programming to automate continuous integration delivery pipeline. They will support production software operation and incorporate learnings into future software features. They will develop software w/a paired partner to deliver code that contributes to a valuable working software product. Develops automated unit tests with working software to confirm software functionality conformance to functional and non-functional requirements Perform exploratory testing to confirm application execution to identify software deficiencies not covered by automated testing. They will review continuous integration build status and fixes build failures. They will review ongoing production software operations and troubleshoots production issues. They will develop automated functional tests to confirm user story acceptance and to detect regression defects.
$67/hr to $73/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

5+ years experience in Software Engineering Java/Angular
1+ year experience with developing for and deploying to cloud platforms (e.g. GCP, PCF, Azure)
Implement and optimize cloud services and tools (e.g. Terraform, BigQuery, GCP)
* Using CI/CD tools and pipelines e.g. Tekton, Cloud Build, etc.
