Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an SAP Functional Consultant for an automotive company headquartered in Dearborn, MI. We are looking for someone who has expertise in S/4 Hana Implementations for SAP module Production Planning (PP). This team is undertaking the effort to deploy SAP Production Planning and Inventory Management functionality to support supply chain and manufacturing production operations.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
· Understand the current business process across all regions / plants.
· Understand the functionality of current Legacy Material requirements Planning (MRP) and associated upstream and downstream systems.
· Work with various stakeholders to study the transformation of current process / legacy systems to Industry best standards / technology/ systems focusing on the SAP PP module.
· Preform requirements gathering, business analysis, and fit-gap/ fit-to-standard analysis to understand the as-is/to-be states and identify key functionalities /process gaps.
· Recommend possible technology / process solutions to address gaps.
· Support user acceptant testing, cutover activities, data migration, Post Go-Live support.
· Develop SAP S/4Hana PP across various sites globally and integrate with both legacy & other best-in-breed applications.
· Coach / Train the team on SAP PP functions in the end-to-end business processes.
· Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with internal SAP Platform team
· Stay current on SAP trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Compensation:
$50/hr to $80/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, engineering or related disciplines
· Experience in deployment of SAP PP module in both greenfield/ brownfield sites.
· Experience in SAP PP module configuration (Discrete/ Repetitive).
· Experience working in S/4 Hana environment.
· Experience integrating with SIEMENS PLM / other PLM Solutions /KINAXIS tools /MES Systems, etc.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Relevant SAP certifications
· Experience working in automotive and manufacturing
· Knowledge of SAP IPPE, PPDS and Variant capabilities
