An Aerospace Company in the Grand Rapids and Clearwater area is looking for Software Engineer. This person will be responsible for all stages of avionic software development and design. This person must have strong communication skills, as the will be involved in requirement gathering and development. They will also take part in customer update calls. About 40% of their job will be spent writing code and then they will spend time in the lab performing verification testing to ensure that product meets requirements. They will need to be comfortable with configuration management and able to ensure that the product has strong connection with existing hardware and software. Their work will be predominately military related.

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
* 3+ years experience in Avionics/Aviation
* 3+ years experience in working with Navigation or Data Transfer systems
* Familiar with ADA Coding language
* 3+ years of C coding language
* 1+ year experience working with ARM processors
* Very strong communication and requirement gathering skills
* Full software life cycle development understanding and experience
