A large Material Handling Company is looking for an Application Engineer. This person will be a part of the sales organization and assisting in creating and designing solutions that meet customer requirements within the material handling industry. 75% of the role will be engineering and design oriented. This person will use AutoCAD and Sketchup to do create 3D and 2D drawings of automated warehousing systems. They will need to be comfortable within excel doing basic calculations to guide design work and ensure their designs are meeting weight and size requirements so they can turn rough data flow charts into a visual. The other 25% of this role will be costing. This person will also need to be a strong communicator as they will be joining the sales team on calls to discuss customer requirements and share their designs.

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Ideally mechanical or Design engineering)
* 1-5 years experience in Engineering with a design and layout emphasis
* 3D design Experience with AutoCAD
