Insight Global is looking for an SAP Functional Consultant for an automotive company headquartered in Dearborn, MI. This individual will join the team responsible for the Materials Management System. We are looking for someone with knowledge and experience of integrating SAP into enterprise systems. The individual in this role will travel onsite to the company's manufacturing plants with North American as needed. As the SAP Functional Consultant you will play a key role in the modernizing the company's material management systems from mainframe to SAP S/4 HANA.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
· Gather, analyze and understand business requirements to successfully design and integrate SAP MM/PP solutions
· Configure and customize SAP modules based on customer specifications, ensuring alignment with industry best practices
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP with external systems, ensuring seamless data flow
· Provide guidance on SAP S/4 HANA functionality, offering recommendations for process improvements and optimizations
· Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users, empowering them to effectively utilize SAP S/4 HANA features and functionalities
· Participate in the full project lifecycle, from fit-gap analysis to configuration, documentation, training, deployment, and hyper-care support
· Troubleshoot and resolve SAP S/4 HANA issues, working closely with technical teams to address any production related challenges
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business needs
Provide ongoing support and maintenance
- 5+ years of experience with SAP integration experience
- Experience using and understanding of SAP S/4 HANA
- Experience using and understand of MM and PP SAP modules
- Experience delivering projects within agile framework
· Bachelors in technology, computer science, information systems or a related field
· Automotive Experience
