Job Description
Our client recently went through a large corporate separation and there is a TSA period through 2025 in which they can utilize their previous company for IT support. Their goal is to be able to fully exit prior to the 2025 end date. In order to achieve this goal, they are seeking a strong Senior Project Manager to join their team to assist in the management of separating and cloning of applications within the organization. About 70% of all business applications will be cloned. This Project Manager will work closely with the IT teams as they go through spinning off applications, build backs, taking platforms and reconfiguring them or rescaling them/rebuilding them. They will be responsible for defining scope, creating project plans, identifying risk, & follow ups. They will coordinate with testing, regression testing, make sure configuration work is done and provide reports to ensure everything is working properly. This Sr PM should be a strong leader with the ability to drive the team with excellent communication skills both oral and written. Should any issues arise, they should be able to gather information to clearly define what the problem is and to then to help facilitate issue resolution. Willingness to travel as needed is required (around 10%) and all travel can be expensed.
Required Skills & Experience
5-7 years of technical Project Management experience in a large enterprise environment -- managing medium to large projects in a technology space
*Experience with BW (Business Warehouse)
*Strong understanding of Data
Comfortable with some BA responsibilities and light testing
Application Development technical understanding -- Familiar with middleware and how data goes back and forth, testing, cloning
Able to define scope, create project plans, risk management, thorough meeting notes, follow up reports
Strong with managing project budgets (SOWs, POs...)
Experience engaging with stakeholders & facilitating meetings, thinking analytically to provide resolutions
Leadership abilities, able to drive & provide a vision for the team, self-starter, self-sufficient
Strong communication skills- oral & written with an emphasis on strong documentation skills
Excellent organizational skills

TSA familiarity

Experience working for big 4 consulting firms
