Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a remote Service Desk Representative for a healthcare client based out of Detroit, MI. They will be joining a team that assists internal employees and provides technical support while maintaining a high level of customer service for the entire health system. Support for these devices and technologies include but not limited to desktops and laptops, virtual machines, tablets, desk phones, mobile phones, printers, wired and wireless networks, VPNs, webcams, dictation hardware, and technically integrated medical devices such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and anesthesia machines. Service Desk Representatives support a wide variety of software, including Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications, MacOS, iOS, Android OS, Epic EMR, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, Citrix Applications, Active Directory, Webex, VPN technologies, Duo multi-factor authentication, and other departmental, clinical, and business applications.
Required Skills & Experience
* 5+ years of service desk, help desk, or IT support experience
* Experience supporting end users through chat, phone, email, and remote assist
* Ability to troubleshoot hardware (laptops, mobile devices, printers), software, and networks
* Familiarity with ServiceNow, apple/MAC, windows, remote access VPN, citrix, Microsoft office, duo/sharepoint, etc.
* Experience working within a 24/7 environment
* Strong customer service experience
* Education required:
* High school diploma along with some college, a few years of vocational training, or IT certifications
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Healthcare industry experience
* Epic or other EMR experience
* ITSM, ITIL or HDI certification
