Job Description

Overview
A client is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to support complex federal acquisition programs. This individual will partner with program leadership and cross-functional teams to oversee program execution, acquisition planning, risk management, contractor coordination, and delivery of mission-critical capabilities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Manage and support DoD acquisition programs throughout the program lifecycle.
• Partner with Program Managers and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to drive cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Develop, review, and maintain acquisition documentation, program plans, milestone materials, and executive briefings.
• Track program risks, facilitate risk management activities, and support mitigation planning.
• Coordinate with government and contractor stakeholders to ensure successful program execution.
• Support source selection activities, including RFP development, evaluation criteria, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
• Prepare status reports, presentations, schedules, and program updates for senior leadership.
• Monitor contractor deliverables, program schedules, funding documentation, and integration efforts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable acquisition policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of acquisition and development initiatives.

Compensation:$55/hr to $65/hr

Required Skills & Experience

• Active Secret Clearance or ability to maintain one.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years of program management or acquisition experience.
• 5+ years supporting Department of Defense programs.
• Strong understanding of DoD acquisition frameworks, including the DoDI 5000 series.
• Experience managing program cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
• Experience developing and reviewing acquisition documentation and program briefings.
• Knowledge of source selection activities, contract support documentation, and acquisition reporting.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
