Job Description

Our OEM client is seeking a skilled Front-End Developer as they are investing in a next-generation digital platform that brings together data, analytics, and operational insights into a unified experience for a mission critical program. This team is leading a high-visibility modernization effort focused on application development, data integration, advanced analytics, and AI-driven capabilities to improve operational effectiveness and decision-making.

This initiative centers around developing applications that consolidate data from multiple sources into a unified user experience. Team members will contribute to application development, data integration, analytics, reporting, and user-facing enhancements that improve efficiency and support informed decision-making across the organization. What You Will Do

· Develop and maintain modern React applications using, TypeScript, and Databricks AppKit UI framework

· Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using shadcn, Radix UI, and TailwindCSS

· Experience with implementing complex data visualizations and interactive chart components

· Build and test components using Vitest and Playwright for end-to-end testing

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a monorepo architecture

· Write clean, type-safe, and maintainable code following domain-driven module patterns

· Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies

· Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces

Pay ranges from 60-80/hr based on qualifications and years of experience

Required Skills & Experience

· 8+ years of professional frontend development experience

· Prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7+ years’ experience

· Expert-level proficiency in React and TypeScript

· Strong experience with TailwindCSS and component-driven architecture

· Proven track record building complex, data-intensive web applications

· Deep understanding of React hooks, state management patterns, and performance optimization

· Experience with modern build tools (Vite) and monorepo architectures

· Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and browser compatibility

· Experience with form validation (React Hook Form) and data tables

· Familiarity with Git workflows, code review practices, and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Experience with Node.js/Express for API integration and understanding backend architecture

· Familiarity with Databricks platform and experience building applications using Databricks AI/BI

· Understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication patterns, and real-time data streaming

· Experience integrating AI/ML features into frontend applications (RAG, NLP, AI SDK)

· Knowledge of React Server Components and modern full-stack patterns

· Experience with drag-and-drop interactions (@dnd-kit) and advanced UI patterns

· Familiarity with effect-ts or functional programming paradigms

· Understanding of testing strategies including unit, integration, and E2E testing

· Experience with AWS or Azure deployment and understanding of cloud-native applications

· Knowledge of DevOps practices, Docker, and containerization concepts
