Security Master Implementation Test Lead

A Top financial client is seeking a Security Master Implementation Test Lead to drive testing efforts for a critical enterprise data transformation initiative within the investment management industry. This role will be responsible for leading the testing strategy and execution associated with the migration of Security Master, Issuer Master, and Benchmark (Index) data from a legacy platform to a modern enterprise data environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep investment data domain expertise and understand how security, issuer, and benchmark data support investment operations, trading, performance measurement, compliance, and reporting functions. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, data teams, and technology partners, this individual will oversee end-to-end testing activities, validate complex data transformations, ensure data quality and integrity, manage defects, and help drive a successful platform implementation. This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and the ability to assess the downstream impact of master data changes across the organization. Compensation is based on years of experience and ranges from $90-95/hr.

• 7+ years of experience leading testing efforts for large-scale data migration, master data, or enterprise platform implementation projects.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required. Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
• Prior experience supporting a Security Master implementation or migration involving platforms such as GoldenSource, Eagle, SimCorp, Aladdin, or similar investment data solutions.
• Strong knowledge of investment management data domains, including Security Master, Issuer Master, Reference Data, and Benchmark/Index data.
• Experience developing and executing comprehensive test strategies across System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Data Validation.
• Proven ability to validate complex data mappings, transformation logic, and reconciliation processes between source and target systems.
• Experience partnering with business users, data governance teams, operations, technology organizations, and third-party vendors throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate technical testing results into business-focused outcomes.

• Prior experience with Powerapps
• Prior experience with Python
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality frameworks within an asset management environment.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and related technologies, including Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or automated testing tools.
