Job Description

One of Insight Global's leading insurance clients is seeking a Director of Product Management to join their team in Boston, MA. This individual will be responsible for leading a portfolio of insurance technology products, driving product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and investment decisions across a large-scale digital platform. The Director will lead a team of Product Managers and Product Owners while partnering closely with business, underwriting, operations, and technology leaders to align priorities, maximize business value, and support long-term platform growth. This is a highly visible leadership role focused on portfolio management, stakeholder alignment, and building scalable product capabilities.

Compensation: $77-96/hr and conversion $160,000-$200,000/year + bonus

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, or Product Portfolio Leadership
Direct insurance industry experience required
Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience strongly preferred
Experience partnering with underwriting, policy administration, claims, or insurance operations teams
Experience managing complex enterprise product portfolios and roadmap strategy
Proven experience leading and developing Product Managers and Product Owners
Strong prioritization, investment planning, and portfolio governance experience
Ability to align business, operational, and technology stakeholders across large initiatives
Experience defining product strategy, business outcomes, and success metrics
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working within Agile product development environments
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities
Demonstrated career progression and organizational tenure with a track record of long-term impact

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience within specialty insurance or commercial lines environments
Experience supporting digital transformation or platform modernization initiatives
Experience within highly regulated industries
Experience working with geographically distributed teams
Experience balancing short-term business needs with long-term platform scalability and technology strategy
