Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team! This hardware Engineer role is 3 days on site in either Westborough MA or Center Valley PA.
This role will be responsible for investigating customer-reported issues, diagnosing system-level problems, and driving solutions that improve product reliability and performance in real-world environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hardware architectures, audio/video technologies, signal transmission protocols such as HDMI and DisplayPort, and system integration principles. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this engineer will support new product launches, validate enhancements, analyze field issues, and contribute to ongoing hardware and software improvements. Success in this role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a natural curiosity for understanding how systems operate, and the ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies while supporting products deployed in manufacturing, supply chain, installation, and customer environments. Experience with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), quality management systems (QMS), and regulatory requirements across U.S. and EMEA markets is highly desirable.
Compensation:
$40-55/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
- 3-4 years working as a hardware engineer, preferably in the medical device industry
- Experience working within the medical device industry and knowledge of SaMD
- AV (Audio/Visual) Experience; experience working with video cards, processors, & hardware equipment
- Experience with Hardware drivers & testing & system knowledge
- Ability to understand how to diagnose problems within hardware
- Bachelor's Degree
Ability to travel on site 3 days a week to work in the lab
