Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Principal Acquisition Program Manager to support a federal client at Hanscom AFB. This individual will serve as a senior acquisition and program management subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance and oversight for Air Force acquisition programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience navigating the DoD 5000 acquisition framework within an Air Force environment and will support program planning, modernization efforts, budgeting activities, and acquisition documentation reviews.

This role will partner with government stakeholders to evaluate program objectives, resolve complex acquisition challenges, and provide enterprise-level recommendations that support mission success. The Principal Acquisition Program Manager will also ensure acquisition strategies, documentation, and program activities align with Air Force and DoD requirements while promoting a system-of-systems approach across the organization.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Provide senior-level acquisition and program management support for Air Force programs.
Apply extensive knowledge of the DoD 5000 acquisition framework to guide program execution and decision-making.
Analyze, evaluate, and recommend solutions for complex program and acquisition efforts.
Support modernization planning initiatives and long-range strategic program objectives.
Review and assess acquisition documentation for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with DoD and Air Force standards.
Provide enterprise-level recommendations to improve acquisition processes and program outcomes.
Support Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) activities and financial management efforts.
Collaborate with government stakeholders to identify risks, resolve issues, and drive program success.
Ensure acquisition and program management activities support an integrated, mission-focused approach.

Pay range $60-70/hr

Required Skills & Experience

-Active Secret Clearance
- Degree in related field
-10-15+ years of professional experience, including 10+ years in DoD acquisition program management.
Extensive Air Force DoD 5000 acquisition experience.
-Strong knowledge of PPBE, acquisition lifecycle management, and modernization planning.
-Experience reviewing and developing acquisition documentation and program strategies.
