Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Supervisor, Transmission Construction to support a leading utility client in Eastern Massachusetts. This individual will oversee all aspects of field construction management and construction inspection activities for transmission line and substation projects. The Supervisor will lead Transmission Construction Representatives and collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, Scheduling, Contract Administration, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transmission line and/or substation construction, construction management, contractor oversight, and utility operations.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5-10+ years of experience in construction, maintenance, utility operations, or related industries.
Experience supporting transmission line and/or substation construction projects.
Strong understanding of transmission construction practices, procedures, and safety requirements.
Knowledge of transmission system operations, maintenance, and construction methodologies.
Proven leadership, workforce management, and business planning skills.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-related information systems.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Utility industry experience within electric transmission or energy delivery environments.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience managing union and non-union employees.
Experience overseeing contractor resources on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with environmental compliance programs and utility regulatory requirements.
