Job Description

A global law firm with nearly 1,400 lawyers and more than 3,000 employees across 19 offices in the United States, Europe, and Asia is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to establish and lead quality assurance processes supporting enterprise endpoint management, patch deployment validation, and UiPath-driven business process automation initiatives. This individual will partner closely with infrastructure and desktop engineering to develop scalable testing frameworks in UiPath that ensure the reliability of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, hardware, driver, and automation deployments.
This is a highly visible role responsible for building a formal QA program from the ground up while supporting innovative automation initiatives across the firm. The goal is to automate user journeys in UiPath. The role is a long-term contract and is remote. Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Testing
-Design and implement a comprehensive QA program for enterprise desktop and endpoint technologies.
-Develop testing strategies for Windows operating system updates, Microsoft 365 enhancements, software releases, hardware refreshes, and driver updates.
-Create repeatable test plans, regression testing procedures, and release validation processes.
-Establish testing standards, documentation, reporting, and quality metrics.

Patch Management Validation
-Lead QA efforts surrounding patch deployment and endpoint management initiatives.
-Validate operating system updates, security patches, application releases, and driver updates prior to production deployment.
-Build and maintain a testing environment utilizing multiple hardware platforms and configurations to replicate production user experiences.
-Identify, document, and track defects while partnering with engineering teams to drive resolution.

UiPath & Automation Testing
-Collaborate closely with the firm's UiPath automation team to validate automated business processes and user journeys.
-Test and optimize end-to-end automation workflows developed within UiPath.
-Create automated and manual testing methodologies for robotic process automation (RPA) solutions.
-Ensure automation solutions accurately replicate business user activities and perform consistently across various environments.

Business Process Automation
-Partner with stakeholders to understand business workflows across different user groups, including legal professionals and administrative staff.
-Validate automated "user journey" processes that leverage screenshots, semantic understanding, and workflow replication technologies.
-Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to increase automation reliability and efficiency.

Compensation:
$50/hr to $54/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Automation Testing roles.
- RPA experience (UiPath) for testing (preferably hardware and driver testing)
- Strong experience building and executing QA testing processes and frameworks.
- Experience testing Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Knowledge of endpoint management, patch management, and software deployment methodologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale application releases and change management initiatives.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and defect management skills
