Job Description
The Senior Systems Engineer will support Air Force radio production, system design, and manufacturing readiness initiatives throughout the acquisition lifecycle. This individual will conduct engineering reviews, evaluate technical baselines, assess system performance, and support the development, integration, testing, fielding, and sustainment of mission-critical radio and communications systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing trade studies, risk assessments, requirements validation, manufacturing readiness evaluations, system-level testing, and technical analysis to ensure programs meet performance, cost, and schedule objectives. The engineer will work closely with program leadership, government stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams to provide systems engineering guidance, develop technical documentation and presentations, support Air Force SEAM processes, and drive solutions for complex engineering and production challenges.
Pay Range $50-60/hr

Required Skills & Experience
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs
Experience with radio systems, production design, or manufacturing readiness
Strong Systems Engineering background supporting the full lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment)
Experience conducting technical reviews, system assessments, and performance evaluations
Ability to perform system-level testing and analyze engineering test results
Experience supporting risk management activities and engineering decision-making processes
Experience conducting trade studies, cost-versus-capability analyses, and technical evaluations
Degree in related field
Minimum 5+ years supporting DoD programs
