Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Unified Communications Engineer to design, install, and support voice systems for a DoD client, ensuring phone and communication services run smoothly and securely. This person will troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, plan for system capacity, and work with customers and vendors to improve voice services. They will also maintain documentation, follow strict military processes, and support upgrades to voice infrastructure within enterprise networks.

Required Skills & Experience
Active Secret clearance
Bachelor’s in IT or 8–12 years of UC/voice experience (or equivalent experience)
Strong hands-on experience with Avaya Aura (CM, SM, voicemail, servers)
Security+ certification
Experience designing and troubleshooting voice systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in DoD environments
Experience with VoIP on large enterprise networks
Strong network troubleshooting skills (packet capture/protocol analysis)
Experience with capacity planning and performance tuning
Experience working with vendors and evaluating solutions
