Job Description
We are seeking an IAM Analyst to support enterprise Identity & Access Management operations on a 24x7, 365 Global Service Desk for a law firm. This individual will focus on core authentication support, access security, and IAM validation processes while working across both on-prem Active Directory and cloud-based Microsoft Entra ID / Azure environments. These roles can sit fully remote. We will provide all necessary equipment needed for the role. You will accrue up to 10 days PTO, and paid holidays (you can also volunteer to work holidays as needed).
IAM shifts - (listed in EST but can sit anywhere). You have an hour lunch break and two 15 min breaks, otherwise you are logged in to your monitor.
12am-9am EST - Thu-Mon
6am-3pm EST - Fri-Tues
8am-5pm EST - Mon-Fri
12pm-9pm EST - Tue-Sat
4pm-1am EST - Sat-Wed
Key Responsibilities:
Core Authentication Support
-Handle password resets, account unlocks, and MFA enrollment/troubleshooting
-Provide Tier 1–2 support for authentication and access-related issues
-Troubleshoot login failures, access denials, and identity-related incidents
Access & Identity Security
-Validate user entitlements and ensure least-privilege access controls
-Support identity lifecycle processes (joiner / mover / leaver workflows)
-Assist in building and enhancing employee identity validation processes
- Participate in access reviews and certification activities
Escalation & Testing
-Validate IAM-related escalations before routing to IAM engineering or SOC teams
- Support IAM system testing related to security threats and vulnerability assessments
- Monitor IAM systems for anomalies and assist with reporting and remediation efforts
Operational IAM Support
-Administer users, groups, and permissions within Active Directory and Entra ID
-Fulfill access requests and ensure proper approvals and documentation
-Maintain clear documentation for IAM processes, policies, and troubleshooting
-Collaborate with Service Desk, Security, and Infrastructure teams
Compensation:
$28/hr to $35/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2-5 years of IAM experience
-Hands-on experience with Active Directory (on-prem) and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) / Azure
-Strong understanding of IAM concepts (RBAC, SSO, MFA, least privilege) and Authentication protocols (LDAP, Kerberos, SAML preferred)
-Experience troubleshooting access, authentication, and identity issues
-Exposure to IAM ticketing workflows and service delivery models
-Strong documentation and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Familiarity with IAM tools (ServiceNow, SailPoint, CyberArk, etc.)
-Basic scripting experience (PowerShell preferred) for automation
-Exposure to security/compliance or SOC processes
-Legal industry background
