Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a remote Sr. Associate to lead the build‑out of agentic AI and intelligent automation across the entire CFO organization, spanning RevOps, Corporate IT, Procurement, Enterprise Applications, PMO, Accounting, FP&A, BI, and Legal. In this role, you will partner closely with functional leaders to map current‑state processes, identify high‑value automation opportunities, and design target‑state workflows powered by production‑grade agentic systems. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery of AI agents built on BigQuery as the system of record, Google Workspace as the user surface, GitHub for code and review, and a governed model gateway for LLM access—ensuring every solution is observable, scalable, and compliant with governance standards. You will define and prioritize the CFO org’s AI roadmap, balancing quick‑win copilots and document workflows with longer‑horizon agents such as close automation, contract review, spend intelligence, and procure‑to‑pay orchestration. This role also establishes the governance pattern for all agents, including HITL checkpoints, evaluation suites, audit logs, access controls, and rollback paths. You will evaluate build‑vs‑buy decisions, assess vendors, and create safe integration wrappers. Additionally, you will stand up a measurement layer to quantify cycle‑time savings, error reduction, financial impact, and adoption, reporting directly to the VP and CFO. A key part of the role is enabling others—coaching analysts and ops leads to become effective agent operators and prompt designers, and representing the CFO org in cross‑functional AI governance forums. By year one, success means delivering a prioritized portfolio of agentic use cases, shipping multiple production agents with measurable ROI, establishing a reusable agent platform pattern, and delivering a dashboard that gives leadership real‑time visibility into adoption, savings, and incidents

Required Skills & Experience

- Engineering background with experience shipping production software; able to read, write, and review code (Python and SQL required)

- 6+ years of total experience, including 3+ years building data, automation, or AI/ML systems in a business or finance context

- Hands‑on experience with GitHub workflows (PRs, code review, CI/CD), BigQuery or equivalent cloud data warehouses, and Google Workspace tooling (Sheets, Apps Script, Drive APIs)

- Proven experience shipping LLM‑ or agent‑powered workflows in production, including evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and human‑in‑the‑loop controls

- Deep understanding of governance, controls, and data privacy for AI systems: SOX‑relevant processes, PII handling, audit trails, and model risk

- Ability to translate between business stakeholders (finance, legal, operations) and engineering teams; comfortable running discovery with a Controller and a design review with platform engineers

- Demonstrated ability to build scalable, reusable, observable solutions—not one‑off scripts—and design patterns that other teams can adopt
