Job Description
A federal client is looking for a SolarWinds engineer to join their team in Lexington, MA. This role is the technical authority for SolarWinds. The consultant will own architecture, optimization, integrations, and sustainment of the SolarWinds monitoring platform in a classified Air Force environment. They will partner directly with government stakeholders and guide engineers on best practices.
SolarWinds is the core focus. BMC Remedy is a supporting integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Own SolarWinds architecture and platform health
Configure, optimize, and sustain enterprise monitoring
Build alerts, dashboards, and performance reporting
Integrate SolarWinds with BMC Remedy (ITSM workflows)
Troubleshoot complex performance and availability issues
Act as the senior technical advisor to the government customer
Pay range (depending on experience): 55-65/hr

Required Skills & Experience
-Active Secret Clearance
-SolarWinds expert at the principal engineer/architect level
-Deep understanding of network, server, and application monitoring
-Experience across major SolarWinds modules: NPM, SAM, NCM, VMAN, NetFlow, IPAM
-Willing and able to work 100% onsite at Hanscom AFB
