Job Description

Contract/Contract-to-Hire Roles:
Compensation: $37.07/hr to $47.24/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Insight Global is seeking a Right of Way (ROW) Agent to support public and private infrastructure projects by providing right-of-way negotiation, acquisition, and coordination services. This individual will play a key role in supporting real property initiatives by working closely with clients, project managers, property owners, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant acquisition of property rights.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of experience in real estate, right-of-way, title, utility coordination, relocation, or property management
Baseline understanding of title and real estate documentation
Experience working on easement agreements
Ability to work independently while managing high volumes of work
Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively with clients, property owners, and occupants
Comfortable interfacing directly with clients and presenting information professionally in both office and field settings
Ability to work in compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations including FHWA, FAA, FTA, FRA, NEPA, FERC, and the Uniform Relocation Act
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard project tools
Willingness and availability for travel and flexible work hours
Ability to balance collaborative team environments with independent fieldwork

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
3+ years of industry experience in right-of-way, real estate, or related fields
Real estate license in good standing (or equivalent experience)
AA degree or equivalent professional experience
Familiarity with databases and GIS systems
Experience working with railroads, permitting crossings, and transportation projects
Experience coordinating with utility companies
Highly self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and proactive
Preference for local candidates
Experience working on transportation or water projects (which means that they have done statutory acquisitions with federal money applied to the project)
IRWA classes or credentials
