Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Benefits Consulting Analyst to join a prestigious global law firm client. This firm generates over $3 billion in revenue and caters to clients in key hubs of business, finance, technology, and government. The analyst will be joining the Benefits Consulting Group and will support a wide variety of projects involving the design, pricing, funding, implementation, and ongoing management of a full array of employer sponsored health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans. In this role, the analyst will work with internal employees across all practice areas, key clients, and vendors to ensure smooth, accurate and financially competitive delivery of benefits products and services.

Daily Responsibilities:
• Perform quantitative analysis of various aspects of employer sponsored benefit plans, including preparation of summaries and in-depth analyses, to assess cost, utilization, competitiveness and employee impact
• Preparation of government forms and related filings (e.g., Form 5500, Form 5300, etc.)
• Perform general and market specific benefit plan research as requested by principals, consultants and clients and provide value added analysis and summaries
• Support principals, consultants, and clients with strategic benefits planning sessions including preparation, facilitation and follow-up items
• Generate written and other data-driven presentations for internal audiences and client-facing meetings
• Assist consultants and principals with development of client-initiated RFPs for health, welfare, and retirement plans including project management, drafting, analysis, research, coordination and execution of the RFP
• Review and facilitate benefit plan service agreements, plan documents, polices and other benefit plan compliance-related materials
• Assist in ensuring benefit programs comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPPA, etc.)

This is a full-time position, hybrid 4 days a week, in NYC or Boston.

Compensation:
$100,000-$120,000 per year annual salary.
This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, geographic location, education, and consideration of internal equity.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-4 years of benefits consulting experience within a fast-paced professional services environment
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Administrative operational experience in running retirement plans
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with both retirement and health & welfare services
