Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Change Manager to join our Reliability Engineering & Operations (REO) team. In this role, you will own and operate the centralized change management framework, ensuring that changes to production environments are assessed, approved, and executed in a controlled, risk-aware manner. You will chair the weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB), manage the emergency change process for production hotfixes, and serve as the organizational authority on change governance across engineering and operations teams. This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of operational discipline and engineering velocity.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in IT change management, IT operations, or a related ITSM role
• Demonstrated experience owning or contributing to a formal change management process in a cloud-hosted SaaS or enterprise IT environment
• Experience facilitating CAB or similar governance forums with cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong understanding of ITIL change management principles and best practices
• Familiarity with AWS-hosted infrastructure and modern software delivery practices (CI/CD, agile, DevOps)
• Experience with ITSM and change management tooling (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, or similar)
• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to and influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in a HIPAA-regulated or otherwise compliance-driven environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• ITIL 4 Foundation certification or higher
• Experience in healthcare IT or payer technology environments
• Familiarity with SRE principles and how change management intersects with reliability and observability practices
• Experience correlating change activity with incident and problem management workflows
