Job Description
Our client out of Waltham MA is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support its Business Solutions Partner (BSP) team by eliciting, documenting, and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions. This role will partner closely with business units as they define strategies and organizational plans, and will assess both internal systems and external vendor solutions to meet business needs.
The BSA will document functional and technical requirements, evaluate solution options, gather architectural, data, and security inputs, and support solutions through the Group 1001 Technology Lifecycle Governance process. This role works cross‑functionally with Enterprise Architecture, Application Development & Support, Data Services, Security, and Technology Governance teams.
Day to Day:
-Develop technical requirements and specifications.
-May develops user acceptance test plans by analyzing business requirements and engaging with project team members and subject matter experts as necessary.
-Communicates status of UAT activities to project teams and IT and business leadership.
-Collaborates with and supports portfolio manager, business representatives and developers during the requirements elicitation process.
-Supports the development of the business analysis and solution design team, including participating in the creation and implementation of templates and improvement of the relevant sections of the development life cycle.
-Supports the prioritization process through initial sizing and costing of systems projects.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in related field
- 4+ years related industry expereince/ technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for consulting with users to understand needs, define requirements, and provide effective solutions.
-Analysis/design skills including ability to gather data on systems issues, define alternate approaches, assess business impact, recommend cost effective solutions, and develop and implement those solutions
-Project management skills, ability to develop and monitor work agreements and budgets, and to determine specifications, schedules, and deliverables
