Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Records Management Specialist to support our large medical device client in Danvers, MA. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant access to quality records that support manufacturing, quality, and business operations.
This position is 100% onsite up to 5 days per week, with standard working hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and customer‑focused, with experience managing both physical and electronic records in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
-Manage and maintain quality records in both paper and electronic formats, including creation, organization, indexing, and inventory control.
-Serve as first‑level support for records requests from internal business partners, providing a high level of customer service.
-Retrieve and deliver time‑sensitive records (e.g., PDF scans, batch records, production records, proprietary documentation) in response to ticketed requests.
-Coordinate retrieval of records from onsite and offsite storage locations, including arranging shipments and tracking boxes moving on and offsite.
-Ensure records are accurately described and categorized, adding appropriate metadata and descriptive content.
-Batch, scan, and organize records in alignment with quality and documentation requirements.
-Work with production batch records and other regulated documentation, maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
-Track, manage, and respond to requests using Jira or similar ticketing systems.
-Support audits, inspections, and internal requests by ensuring records are complete, accurate, and readily accessible.
-Perform additional records management and quality support activities as assigned.
Compensation:
$35.00/hr to $43.00/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelors or Associates degree in a relative field is required, preferably within the engineering and sciences field
-5-8+ years experience in records management, document control, or quality documentation, preferably in a regulated environment.
-Strong ability to manage both physical and electronic records with a high degree of accuracy.
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Customer‑service mindset with experience supporting internal stakeholders.
-Ability to manage multiple, time‑sensitive requests and meet tight deadlines.
-Comfort working with ticketing systems such as Jira or similar tools.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
-Ability to work onsite up to 5 days per week during standard business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Prior experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.
-Familiarity with quality systems and regulated documentation (e.g., batch records, proprietary manufacturing records).
-Experience coordinating with offsite storage vendors or records archiving services.
-Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
-Exposure to audits or inspections involving quality or manufacturing records.
